The Takatsuki High School from Osaka, Japan, first visited our institution in 2015. Except for interruptions in 2017 and between 2021-2022 due to the pandemic, this year marks their eighth visit. The delegation is led by Principal Tsuyoshi Kudo of Takatsuki High School, with 44 high school students accompanying him for the exchange visit.

The exchange activity began with opening speeches by Professor Kun-Hsien Tsai, Vice Dean of the College and Director of the Global Health Program, and Principal Tsuyoshi Kudo of Takatsuki High School. Following that, Associate Professor Hung-Chieh Chang from the Department of Public Health and the Institute of Health Policy and Management gave a keynote speech to the visiting faculty and students. The topic was "Environmental Health and Young People's Participation in Environmental Movements in Taiwan," where he explained Taiwan's progress in promoting environmental health and the efforts and achievements of the younger generation in Taiwan in the field of environmental health.

delivered a keynote speech.

Next, seven groups of student representatives from Takatsuki High School presented their research findings. The topics of the presentations were as follows: How to improve students' health literacy, How to create a resident-participation local community, How to popularize radio calisthenics, How to popularize bamboo skin packaging at rice ball specialty stores, How to increase Cambodian children's motivation to take a bath, and An app to visualize the status of supplies at disaster evacuation shelters. The Japanese students gave lively and engaging presentations in English.

The School of Public Health invited four professors to serve as panelists for the comprehensive feedback session. These included Associate Professor Hung-Chieh Chang from the Institute of Health Policy and Management, Associate Professor Chia-Cheng Wei from the Institute of Food Safety and Health, Assistant Professor Ling-Wei Chen from the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, and Assistant Professor Liang-Yu Lin from the Institute of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. The professors provided feedback on the students' presentations and offered suggestions for improvement.

At the end of the event, the student representative from Takatsuki High School expressed the gratitude to all the professors from our institution who participated in the feedback session. Principal Tsuyoshi Kudo of Takatsuki High School presented a certificate of appreciation to each of the participating faculty members. The closing speech was delivered by Professor Kun-Hsien Tsai, Vice Dean of the College and Director of the Global Health Program, who thanked all the participants for their visit and engagement.
