Contact Tracing Assessment of COVID-19 Transmission Dynamics in Taiwan and Risk at Different Exposure Periods Before and After Symptom Onset


We should like to share a recent publication,  “Contact Tracing Assessment of COVID-19 Transmission Dynamics in Taiwan and Risk at Different Exposure Periods Before and After Symptom Onset”, in JAMA Internal Medicine. This investigation was a concerted effort by NTU CPH and Taiwan Centers for Disease Control. This contact tracing study showed that the transmissibility of COVID-19 peaked before and immediately after symptom onset and has critical implications on the feasibility of different control measures to contain the pandemic.
